Rise Dance Center
At Rise Dance Center, the instructors seek to expose children to the arts through several different dance styles and techniques. Kids can participate in a nine-month schedule of weekly lessons to help them appreciate what their bodies can learn to do.
Dance styles include:
- Acro: A gymnastics-based class that helps build strength, balance, and flexibility.
- Ballet: A classic form that’s considered foundational for all other types of dance, focusing on proper alignment and movement.
- Contemporary: Modern, lyrical, and other styles that include expressionism and fluidity of movement.
- Hip-hop: An energetic dance style set to contemporary hip-hop music and that incorporates faster and more intricate choreography with lots of personality.
- Jazz: Incorporates the classical training of ballet movement with a more upbeat style.
- Tap: Brings rhythmic sound from special shoes and choreography.
In addition to the regularly scheduled classes, Rise Dance Center offers summer camp programs for kids ages 3 years and up.

Ballet students at Studio6twenty5 are taught using the American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Curriculum. This program focuses on high-level ballet training with a proper focus on dancer health and development. Dancers study according to an age-appropriate training curriculum with outcome-based guidelines. This ensures that children of all ages receive focused and foundational skills. Registration for classes follows the academic school year.
Children from ages 2 to 5 years start in pre-primary ballet classes that run through the academic school year. Instructors informally introduce basic ballet skills while encouraging creative movement and play. These classes are appropriate for both boys and girls.
Primary ballet classes start for boys and girls from ages 5 to 8 years. These classes involve more structure and defined footwork and focus on moving to music and spatial awareness.
Studio6twenty5 also offers a variety of classes for adult and teenage students ages 12 years and up. Beginner- and intermediate-level dancers take classes in open ballet, pointe, or jazz, along with barre+ classes, which use ballet movements and body-weight exercises for an intense 60-minute full-body workout.

You can choose the style of dance you want to learn or perfect, or the instructor can help you discover where you’re most talented.
In the wedding choreography class, you and your fiancé choose the song, and the instructor will help choreograph a dance to help you feel prepared for that first dance on your wedding day.
